The food is excellent, and the portions are very generous. Many of the meals can easily be shared and still leave you full. Some items are cooked to order and require a short wait, but the food is well worth it. The owner is very friendly, as are the rest of the staff. I especially appreciated the Black History Wall.

First time at this place and it was the best soul food I’ve ever had. The smothered chicken, Mac n cheese, fried catfish and pecan cake was absolutely to die for. Came out HOT and so fresh. Not to mention the owner knew it was our first time and gave us extra sides and 2 pieces of cake on the house. Amazing, genuine people that deserve all the business in the world. We live 2 hours away and will definitely go out of our way to come back here.

Initially, I planned to get my food to go, but the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming that I decided to stay. Gospel music was playing, and the calm, faith filled environment immediately put me at ease. I could truly feel the presence of the Lord in this establishment, and it was a blessing to sit and enjoy my food while it was hot. Ms. Renee, the owner, was absolutely phenomenal! She was attentive, personable, and genuinely engaged with every customer. She made me feel welcome and valued, and you could tell she truly cares about her customers, her employees, and her business as a whole. That chicken was fried to perfection really crispy and crunchy but it had absolutely no flavor or no seasoning. I was craving banana pudding that’s why I went in and that was disappointing. No whip topping and barely no bananas just the custard with cookies jammed in a container.

Every time I eat at Sistergirls’ Kitchen it feels like home. The fried food is always crispy and flavorful, and the sides taste homemade and comforting. The service is friendly and welcoming. You can tell this place puts love into every plate. Highly recommend supporting this gem!
