The Pelican House Restaurant

Pelican House was one of those dining experiences that really sticks with you. When we visited in early December we actually didn’t have a reservation and happened to arrive while they were still setting up for an event, before they were officially open for seated dining. Even with that, they graciously welcomed us in and took care of us — which immediately set the tone for how warm and accommodating the service would be. From the moment we sat down, we felt right at home. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. We ordered the seafood platter and added oysters, and also got the oxtail. Let me just say… everything was amazing. The seafood platter was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and adding the oysters was definitely the right move.

The food here is delicious and the service is top notch!! We has the turkey necks as an appetizer, so tender and flavorful! As my main i had the catfish, it was seasoned perfectly. The vibe was very chill and we never wanted for anything because before we had a chance to ask they were already on it.

AMAZING 🤗 A MUST TRY ‼️ Omg this place took me on a journey to New Orleans… The food was delicious, cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection. Our server was amazing he greeted us with a smile, was kind, prompt and had awesome recommendations…Hubby and I are already contemplating our next visit!!! Make sure to make a reservation….

It was an amazing experience. Lou was outstanding. From the moment we entered the restaurant he catered to us exceptionally. The food was also very tasty and presentation was also exquisite! Keep doing ya Thang Pelican! Not only will be putting out the word but Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for treating us amazingly!!

Catfish platter was deliciously seasoned. I’m not a fan of fish chips but the they were crispy to perfection. The welcome was warm and inviting. The hostess and waiter were very pleasant. I recommend and will return. One thing the ranch needs more ranch dealings and less mayo tasting maybe add sour cream too. Thanks for jazz experience
