The peanut sauce was very watered down, and the scallion rings tasted like a plain donuts, it was just soft(not crunchy and soft as I was expecting), it had a very light taste of egg. Couldn't taste any scallions. The worst part was that all the peanut sauce spill into the bag, and dripped on the floor😳 of the place I was visiting, very embarrassing when it was pointed out to me.😤 this is a easy fix, either changed the container of the noodles, or put the peanut sauce into a smaller container, it would be good to add hot sauce with it, to actually give it some flavor. The scallions that was in the noodles was interesting, because the small amount area it touched was actually tasted good, Sadly it was only 1 bite(if they had add more scallions it would've been a better experience. A cozy spot serving authentic Fujian cuisine. The fish balls, mee sua noodles, and other dishes are flavorful and comforting, just like home-style cooking. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly — a great place for a warm, satisfying meal.
To start off when I walked in I was placed my order and the person at the front was patient and welcoming. The food cost me $8.50 which is a really good price for the portion of food. The food didn’t take long to come out and was ready to eat as soon as I got it. The fried pork dumplings were crispy and fresh. Every bite had a burst of flavor. It was my first time trying peanut noodles and it had a subtle peanut taste to it. It was creamy which I liked. Overall it was really good. Just make sure to mix up the gravy when you eat it. The atmosphere was small but they have seats for people sit and enjoy the food. CASH ONLY. (@jefeeatss On Instagram for food content)
Cheap, no frills. Some of the photos on the Google listing are random dishes they don’t even serve…
I always go for the FISH BALLS SOUP and SAUTÉED RICE CAKES. delicious and comforting. I heard the peanut sauce on noodles is soo good too. I gotta try the Taro Cake!
