Stopped in recently for lunch and had a great experience! Pros: Bread bowl clam chowder Local home made root beer Unusually good ice cream! Friendly & engaging owner Cons: Nothing really, just an overall elevated experience for what was just going to be a lunch grab while on the road that turned into a memorable stop! They also have rooms to rent, and from the way the bistro is run I'd imagine that is likely done with the same care as well. Also, the visitor center parking lot & beach access is conveniently right across the street to stretch your legs (and walking off lunch) before hitting the road again. We'll make it a point of stopping in again next time we drive through!
Cozy little restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean. The clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl was positively scrumptious! Best we've ever had. We also ordered a very nice halibut sandwich and they had some delicious beers and ciders on tap. The proprietors were friendly and patient with our large group. Would absolutely eat there again.
Don’t be deceived from the outside appearance. The place is great. Has great beers available, the best clam chowder I’ve had on the coast yet , in fact I went across the street and had a bowl of clam chowder at the Red Fish and it wasn’t even close. Shoreline has excellent food, beer and well worth the visit. Sorry, didn’t take any food pics, but after having my fourth bowl of chowder along our drive, had to let ya all know, best chowder on the coast.
Drove by this unassuming restaurant and I'm so glad I turned back to dine in. I'm from the north east and this New England clam chowder was hands-down the best I've ever had in my life. The fish is fresh caught from the owners boat and you can absolutely tell. The fish was flaky, tender, and extremely delicious. Don't forget the home made root beer in a frosted glass! I'm devastated I don't live closer, this would absolutely be a place I would visit over and over for both the excellent food and service. Truly the best stop I've made on my PNW road trip!
Very nice humble place. We received great hospitality and service. We got the lingcod fish and chips and halibut bite, they were amazing. We also had the tuna sandwich very good wild caught. I also loved the coleslaw. Must try fish and chips.
