Port Orford Sustainable Seafood

If you stop at one place on your way through Port Orford, let it be this one. The fish is top tier, and the cook is so talented. I’ve tried the Miso Black Cod, the Katsu, and the Fish Stew so far, and they’re all amazing. Definitely worth not only a stop, but a repeat visit as well.

Came from New Orleans to the west coast and stayed in Jedediah this November. Road the 101 up to Portland and back home. Along the way we stopped at Port Orford Sustainable Seafood because we wanted something off the beaten path. Best/freshest salmon burger ive ever had in my life and the cod was just as good. They had a cool shirt that I was reluctant to buy before I ate my food. Our food was hand delivered while my wife and i sat at the top of an overlook while we soaked in the view of the pacific. Today, I wear my cool shirt we purchased on our way out while I sit and drink my beer in a new orleans bar- reppin Port Orford Sustainable Seafood.

Wow!! When I looked inside before ordering and saw the chef with his fishing boat rain gear overalls, I thought to myself ‘this is going to be good’ and wow was it ever. I was a fish cook for several years and know how fish is supposed to be done. This was done to perfection lightly blackened with an amazing miso drizzle, fresh slaw, over a bed of piping hot rice. Astonishingly good! Bravo! I’ll be back…

Amazing katsu ling and miso black cod. A super fresh lunch stop on a roadtrip. Great scenery too!

WOW! Absolutely a feast for your taste buds. We ordered a cod miso dish and it was perfectly cooked with a generous serving of fish, loved the miso sauce as well! DON'T SKIP THIS PLACE!
