Portside Market and Cafe

We stopped here for breakfast and it was really good. Service was excellent even though they were busy. It was fast and delicious, my veggie omelette was really tasty but the hash browns a little too greasy for my taste. Great place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. It’s next to a c-store where they also sell sandwiches.

I hate this whole "5 star" review thing. In 2025, there's s.o. much more to the food out there.....let's dive in. This small market "deli" is phenomenal. If you're in the area you have two choices.... Sit down for some grub (like I said, closes at 2 for sit down)OR (my option here) take it to go and find one of the dozens of beautiful overlooks to eat at, this place is a must stop. And here's why....their "grab and go" burritos are made in house and kept in a warmer, on the market side, ready for you to pick up and haul out. Got a minute, but not so long as to be served? Then order a deli sandwich, YOUR WAY. It won't disappoint or leave you feeling ripped off. Their sandwiches are a "no joke". W/ that said, this place uses average meats, cheeses and breads, but makes up for it in flavor!

This restaurant was one of the highlights of my Oregon coast trip with my 8 year old son! Our server Brittany was such a kind, genuine person. She's clearly a skilled server but what stood out the most was her ability to connect with all her customers, including my son (and his banana slug stuffie 😊). It was an exceptional dining experience from the delicious food to the hospitality. Mickey the cook did a wonderful job on my classic breakfast, especially the bacon. I wish we lived in the area so we could come back! We also stopped by the market side and once again were greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Thank you for everything!

BEST sandwich we've had for a long time! The size of a football! The service from all three folks today was so nice. Unexpected and very pleasant stop. Thank you to the nice people working at the restaurant, deli and market.

We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I had the ham scramble & my wife had the eggs benedict special. Both dishes were good & service was fast. The waitress never smiled at us & practically had a frown. She smiled at the local patrons but never even checked on us once we got our food. Sorry, but we won't be back.
