One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in nyc! The food was outstanding, starting with the hummus, simple, warm, and delicate to the octopus that was cooked to perfection, super tender and absolutely a must-try. The schnitzel was also very good. We discovered this place by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. And don’t skip dessert—the dark chocolate mousse was unreal!
Great place! We ordered the shakshuka and schnitzel, everything was delicious. Cozy atmosphere, great food, and definitely worth a visit. I’d happily come back!
It was okay. The service was kind of pushy, we were asked if we wanted to order food the second we sat down, no offer to go through the menu or if we wanted any recommendations. Kept pushing a second round of drinks on us as well. The food was like just okay, nothing super good but not bad.
Great food, pretty good prices. I think they raised their prices over the last couple of years though. Vegetarian selection is pretty good, we got the squash.
Shoo Shoo is one of those spots where the vibe instantly pulls you in—laid-back yet stylish, with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The energy of the place is just as memorable as the food, and together they create such a standout dining experience. We started with the hummus, and it was absolutely outstanding—so fresh, silky smooth, and bursting with flavor. It paired beautifully with the warm bread and set the tone for the rest of the meal. The fries and sweet potato fries deserve a special mention too: perfectly crispy, piping hot, and honestly addictive. They’re the kind of sides you keep reaching for long after you’re full. For mains, the lamb shawarma was excellent, with a distinctly gamey flavor that made it rich and satisfying without being overpowe
