Shogun Sushi

Let me paint the vibe for you. It reminds me of being on the islands in Hawaii. The music choice makes the environment calm and nice. When I lived in Hawaii I would go by the water and get sushi and the owner there would play reggae and the ocean breeze would hit you in the face after getting a nice tan from the sun as you get crystallized by the the salt crystals from the ocean waves. Eating here brought back memories. 1st trip This place is awesome. I got the bulgogi bento and a side of kimchi. My mother used to make this for me all the time. I would have ate more but the large beer got me too full. Everything was great. Service to food all 10/10. Cute girl works here too. The restaurant was decorated very well, I love the atmosphere. I never had kimchi ramen before and I'm scared to eat it anywhere else because theirs was SO GOOD! The service was really attentive and came to check on us several times, but it didn't feel like hovering. We came in towards closing but the staff all had smiles for us and they seemed genuinely happy to answer our questions.

My Partner and I love Shogun, its honestly feels like a community coming in here, from the servers, chefs, and even customers it feels like a family. Joe (owner) and his staff are always so accommodating and the customer service from everyone is amazing. The sushi have excellent options and all taste unique. Sake have great choices. The dinner and lunch specials are perfect for two or one depending on how hungry you might be, and the price point is beyond fair. Cant recommend this place enough!

1st time going here, to go order. Way over priced! It was over 50$ for 2 tiny rolls and a dinner salmon. The portion of salmon received was tiny as well. Which they put in the container with my cold salad. I would never go back. I left a good tip as well which I regret! Making it over 60$ for a to go order. Really disappointed.

This is our favorite local Japanese restaurant. The food is delicious. We usually get the salmon bake sushi -- so good! My kids enjoy their tempura udon and Japanese-style fries. You need to go early because this place gets busy (and for good reason).
