Shirley's BBQ

Very good dinner! Wife and I shared fried chicken and pulled pork with hush puppies for an appetizer. Sides were baked beans, potato salad, green beans and coleslaw. We’ll be back.

Good service and good food. The fried chicken was like it's supposed to be, crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The fried Okra and potato salad were good too.

The pulled pork and brisket were good, but the ribs and beans were our favorite. Great service too.

The establishment was nice and clean. The assumed owner was very nice. Was disappointed in the small portions for the price though. There was more bread than meat on my $13 brisket sandwich. Flavor wise.. it was average or below, I'd say. Also, not a fan of their ribs. I actually threw them away. They were dry and there was too much cartilage in it for me. I guess I prefer baby backs. I'll probably give Shirleys another shot in a couple of months. I want this place to be good so bad!
