Sharky's Pub & Grub

Stopped by to have a nice date with my husband, we have not been inside of this place. We have only ordered carry out once or twice. The food is all right, but I can make better at home. It was either underseasoned or over seasoned. My steak was extremely salty and far too much pepper. I also had a milkshake which tasted like it was out of a bag or the ice cream was very freezer burnt, if you’re going to advertise milkshakes, make sure it can taste better than a drive-through at sonic. I really wanted to like this place, but after we ate, I just happened to glance up as I was checking out the decor and noticed that all of the fans are caked with dust. The pillars are caked at the top with dust. There is signage that is all plugged into a strip Cord and it’s covered in dust. Not that I am G

We smelled the food cooking as we drove by and had to stop in. You have to try the Smoked French Dip, its amazing! The hand cut sharkey's fries were nice and crispy (definitely not out of a bag). We also got the BBQ Mac & Cheese with pulled pork. It came out looking delicious but the pork was cold. I mentioned it to the server and they didn't hesitate to make it right. Just a few minutes later she brought out a hot fresh order and tasted just as good as it looked. We were so hungry and the food was so good, we didn't even think to get any pics until it was almost all gone.

First time visiting this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We were there for lunch on a Wednesday and parking was not a problem. There were several people in there but we got a table right away. The staff was friendly, the history of the restaurant is interesting, the menu selections were vast, and the food was delicious. I had the reuben and sweet potato fries and the wife had the salmon. We also shared sides of fried pickles and jalapenos, and cheese curds. We definitely couldn't eat it all so we took some home.

Kaydince was a fantastic server. She kept our drinks full and made sure we were well taken care of. My problem was the dry taco salad and being charged $1 for extra salsa. Insane. Taco salad wasn’t edible without it.

It’s not what it used to be. Visited some family and Holmtown was closed, so we stopped by Sharky’s. Service was slow. Couldn’t get refills, sides didn’t come out and neither did my daughter’s milk. I had to chase the server down for my daughter’s drink. French fries were cold when they finally came. Server never brought me my change when I paid cash ($90 on $71, I intended on leaving $14 even though it wasn’t earned). I love supporting local businesses but I don’t think we’ll be back
