Mi Ranchito

Enjoyed our dinner this evening. This was our second time eating here. Ordered the Pork Carnitas Tamales and the Monterey Platter as well as a queso appetizer. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas and the fish tacos. We both really enjoyed the food and service was great for both meals.

My wife and I stopped in and the food was amazing! This was our first time eating at El Ranchito in Fort Scott, KS, and it was not disappointing. I had a chicken avocado taco salad and my wife had a fajitas bowl. Both were amazing! Oh...and the people working there were very nice! Our waiter was a high schooler who had a great personality. We will be back for sure.

Okay. If you have ever seen a review my me, you would see I am a stickler. I don’t easily give high praise or great reviews. That being said, everything we ordered today was absolutely bursting with flavor. Not only is this easily the best Mexican in Fort Scott, it is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Starting with the salsa, I was pleasantly surprised at such a good and fresh tasting flavorful salsa with decent chips. For the meal: I had a grilled steak fajita bowl. I also tried the cream cheese chicken enchilada, the La crema chimichanga, and the kid’s fajitas which others at my table ordered. I highly recommend. There is no reason to go to La Hacienda anymore and I cannot imagine choosing El Charro more than maybe 1 out of 10 times. Must eat here if in Fort Scott,

Just picked up. Ordered 2 taco salads to go and usually food is awesome. Been to just about all locations! Even Mound City in middle of nowhere! Taco salad had 3 big bitter surprises of iceberg center core boulders 🤷‍♂️ that everyone else tosses in trash. ???

10/10!! I ordered the cream cheese chicken enchiladas and they were DELICIOUS!!! Salsa was absolutely bursting with flavor! They also served sweet bread which tasted like corn bread and it was awesome! They definitely stand out from our other Mexican restaurants in the best way! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 I really hope they stay!!
