This was an amazing choice! As a returning customer, the service was so light and warm, which matched the chicken gyro perfectly. This will forever be my #1 place to recommend to anyone looking for great food and and a spectacular environment.

Shah’s Halal Food is a great place to grab a quick bite. On Fridays they have an awesome special, a cheeseburger, French fries, and a soda for just $6, which you really can’t go wrong with. Every time I’ve come here, I’ve been met with amazing customer service and consistently good food. It’s a nice, reliable spot when you want something tasty without spending a lot. Definitely give it a try!

extremely loved it. chicken over rice is very delicious. the management is so kind. i have been visited so many shahs halal restaurants but this is something different . the merits as follows 1. taste and hygiene 2.cleaning 3. safety and healthy 4. great atmosphere. 5. staff and workers are very friendly i greatly recommended this place.

I've been here a few times now and I'm confident saying it's a new favorite. Think Chipotle but for halal food. Food is unique and flavorful. You can get it to a solid spiciness level with the sauces. I appreciate all the nice fresh veggies too. I've had the chicken and lamb, and both are great. Despite my initial worry that we didn't need yet another middle eastern restaurant on Thayer, Shah's is really doing something different from the other guys, appealing to a younger audience. Price is extremely reasonable for the portion. Dinner under $15 bucks, easy. Service is good, staff are attentive and friendly. Ambiance is fine and very clean- some not decoration wouldn't kill them but it's not distracting. Overall, give it a try, I'm glad I did!
