Shabu Shack

My daughter and I love this place! Food is always fresh. Service is friendly and fast. We always get the best all you can eat package. I think its Diamond. We come at least once a week especially now during the winter season. Our server last night on 12/21 seems to be our normal servers and does a fantastic job every time.

Went here with my friends for her birthday and it was honestly the best way to end the night. The food was great! we got the golden tier and the meat options were endless, Wagyu was our favorite. It came with lots of sides which was great to have that many choices. The menu was a bit confusing since it was our first time trying hotpot, but the staff was amazing and so patient with us and guide us through the menu, and our options. 10/10 experience, will definitely return when I am in Davis again.

Delicious! We got the combo ring platter and up to 3 broth! Talk about an explosion of flavors! Worth it every time! Service is magnificent! Conveniently located in the heart of davis! They have a sauce bar coming soon! I can’t wait to see whats in store! Def recommend this place, i will be back soon!

AYCE Japanese hot pot restaurant, located in downtown Davis. The meat quality is surprisingly good, and there are also some good veggie and carb options. Soup flavor was decent. Menu can be confusing, but the staff patiently explained all the options. Large free parking lot behind the restaurant, but it fills up quickly, especially on weekends.

We always love shabu and decided to try Shabu Shack while visiting Davis. Went for the Gold Tier and it was excellent. It is an all you can eat buffet but they only allow you to order 1 protein per person at a time. We tasted all the protein and the American waygu beef was delicious. Service was good and fast. I also went for the $12 all you can drink beer which was surely a good value for those who enjoy some beer with your shabu.
