The Melt

I recently visited The Melt in Davis with high expectations, and they definitely delivered. The place was clean, the décor looked great, and I really liked ordering through the self-service machines because it let me take my time and see all the photos. There was also a young gentleman working there who stood out immediately. I’m not sure if he was the manager or just a great employee, but he constantly checked on customers, cleaned tables, and made sure everyone was happy with their food. His attitude really made the experience better. Our food came out fast, the drinks were good, and the burgers we ordered were honestly delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and overall it was just a really enjoyable meal. If there’s one thing I wish they would add, it’s more cheese options.

First time ever visiting a melt location and I must say it is large, open and inviting. Being my first time I asked the person at the register. What is the fan favorite and she guided me to the crispy chicken sandwich. I of course had to go for the spicy version, it did not disappoint. I also got the garlic fries and a double chocolate malt milkshake. The music was good. Not too loud. There were people chatting without having to yell. This place is extremely clean as if it's brand new. Next time I'll have to try the barbecue bacon cheeseburger.

This was our first visit to The Melt. The burgers are delicious, the fries were great (hot, crispy and seasoned nicely), but there wasn't as much cheese on anything like advertised...a bit of a disappointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Now, into the seating. It was a nice day and we wanted to sit outside. The seating on the inside looks good, plenty of room. I'm disabled (in a power wheelchair) and it was a tight squeeze to get a seat outside, but I managed. The other issue with the outdoor seating is that unless you're a thin person, good luck sitting on those hard metal chairs with barely enough room for both butt cheeks. These are about the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever tried to sit on, so I ended up staying in my power wheelchair. My poor boyfriend was uncom

The Melt is always fantastic - it has been one of our favorites for years, so we were excited when we found out they were coming back to Davis! The location is convenient, the service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The BBQ Bacon Burger and the Cheddar Bacon Ranch fries are my go-to, but the Egg-In-A-Hole is also a favorite!

The food is AMAZING 😍. I had the sacilian chicken sandwich and garlic Parmesan fries. The service is a little chaotic when the get busy on the weekends. During the week their service is really good. The inside dining is okay, they have hard metal chairs. They have a outside shaded patio are with 3-4 tables. They are well worth a try
