From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I had stumbled onto something special. Where has this place been all my life! We ordered the Ofada, Jollof rice with efo riro, paired with tender goat meat and perfectly seasoned beef, plus a side of puff puff and plantains. The flavors were bold, layered, and deeply comforting — the kind of seasoning that tells you someone in that kitchen is cooking with intention and pride. I keep going here for my African fix, the ofada stew, vegetable stew with jollof rice, deep fried plantain, Amala ewedu & gbegiri are all chefs kiss!! I enjoy the their food and the service is always very kind and professional.

This place is DISGUSTING!!!!! I usually don’t leave bad reviews but DO NOT eat here. I got the jollof, chicken and puff puff. The jollof smelled burnt and fishy. I couldn’t even include a picture because I put it in the trash so fast. It was stinking up my house. And the puff puff, well the picture is included. The puff puff would have been good if it wasn’t all burnt up. I heard them microwave my food. I don’t even think they have a kitchen back there. I can’t believe they would even serve a plate like that. People used to take pride in their food. Luckily I was able to get a refund. I would never eat here again.

My husband and I were up visiting for the week! I was craving me some African food! I came across this place ! When I say the food was absolutely bomb!!!! & delicious . I was humming while I was eating lol . I got the egusi Stew with goat and fufu my husband order cassava leafs with goat and coco bread ! We asked them to make it spicy !!! It was perfectly spiced and flavorful! The young lady at the register was very sweet and pleasant ! The best African food I’ve tasted in a long time . Will be back soon! I ordered the cassava leaf w/ chicken and honestly I wish I hadn’t. For one, they gave more chicken then actually cassava leaf and I’m surprised because when I looked through the reviews someone posted a picture of a platter full of cassava leaf. But the taste is what was alarming. It had a distasteful after taste as if the water used when cooking was not clean or maybe it was the chicken it was flavorless as if it were boiled. I ended up trashing the food a complete waste of 20.99. I’m not sure if maybe it was because I order 30 mins before closing but still you would expect quality food. Cassava leaf was lacking flavor besides the spice level it had no peanut butter and just overall poorly cooked. Extremely disappointed
