SFC Seoul Fried Chicken - Boundbrook

Came in around 2pm to grab a bite and decided on the 4pc Tender Box ($16.99). The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. I got the Seoul Buffalo sauce and added a Comeback sauce, both on the side. 2 of these huge tenders require 1 sauce so please order at LEAST one extra sauce if you’re going the tender box route. I’m a big man and I was full from the 4pc tenders. I can highly recommend this place for food taste and cleanliness.

We've ordered from SFC twice now, and I feel confident in saying that SFC is some damn good friend chicken. So juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and each and every piece you order is like that - I don't know how they are so good at consistency, but if you order a drum box (comes with 5 drums) - each and every piece is perfectly cooked. You don't have to worry about getting one overcooked piece and one undercooked piece. All the sauces we've tried have been so flavorful and delicious (although the chicken is so good on it's own that you really don't even need any sauce). For sides, we've tried the K-Jun Fries, Cornbread and the fried dumplings and each one was perfectly cooked, seasoned and delicious. I’ve heard a lot about this place since they opened so it was time to give it a try. You can order off the touch screens or at the counter. Menu is easy to navigate through and there’s a wide selection of sauces with a scale that lets you know how hot each one is. MJ was working and he was so friendly and sweet! He provided us with a couple extra sauces to try since it was our first time there and we were unsure what to go with. As for the food, it was great. We got a bundle so we were able to try various chicken pieces. Each piece was fresh and juicy. The French fries have a nice blend of salt and light seasoning. I’ll definitely be coming back.

It's nice to have a halal Korean bbq place so close to home. The food was freshly made and delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sauces were great, particularly the mango habenero. The waffle fries were also great. The owner was very friendly and stopped by to make sure everything was ok. He even gave my kids complimentary juices, which they loved. Overall, it was a great experience.

This is my go-to Korean fried chicken place, I still come back to SFC as my fave despite trying other places in fort Lee and ktowns across the country. I always stop by here when I'm shopping at the nearby promenade. Their batter aligns with everything i want with the chicken, (crispy, light) I always get my order with the sauce on the side so I can enjoy the wonderful crunch at its peak (I always get the creamy wasabi and their soy garlic). I would describe it as a more pleasant fresh-fried popeyes batter with less salt, and also doesn't decimate the roof of your mouth. I strongly recommend trying their chicken fresh in their restaurant but do know that even with takeout, their chicken keeps well and crispy because of their takeout box vents.
