SCLSNJ's Bound Brook Library Branch

I used to come here with my kids at least once a month. I'm so so so sad they are closed forever. Now we have to travel much farther to use the SCLSNJ system... My kids loved it. The children's section downstairs is amazing, with toys and books and activities for all ages. There was always kids here hanging out, you could tell it was a safe space. Staff had always been super friendly and helpful.

My Granddaughters and I simply love the Bound Brook Library, it’s welcoming, comfy and everyone there is friendly. I enjoyed the Library with my own children over 30 years ago and happy to be back the last 7. It’s just a wonderful place, great staff it’s like a slice of home. Thanks!!

I use the library for books that I want to read. I have found the librarians to very helpful, very knowledgeable, very professional and very courteous. The library, in my opinion, is one of our town's best assets. The library itself is a very nice old building. The town or county should allocate more money in updating and restoring it. Lack of available parking spaces at the library can be difficult sometimes. I am proud of our town library and commend those who work there for the good job they do. The 5 stars are for the staff. The library building as I said could use updating.

A few days ago, I ran into a jam at home while attempting to print out important documents. When I arrived at the Bound Brook Library, I was greeted warmly by Mabelle at the desk, who assured me that she would be able to help navigate me through the printing process, which she did with patience and (from what I could tell from behind a mask) a smile. When I asked her where I might locate the nearest notary public in order to complete my task before running off to the post office, Mabelle directed me downstairs to Veronica, who was also very sweet and kind – and whisked me through a short process with a smile that made my day. Both Mabelle and Veronica should be lauded for their friendly, inviting and pleasant demeaner, and their willingness to help a complete stranger without a single roll

Always loved this place. This small library has its own charm with the children and adult sections. It's quiet so it's great for silent studying, not so much group projects. Furthermore, it a wonderful place to sit down and read a book.
