Serratore's Pasta and Pizza

Service was slow (or our waiter wasn’t great) it’s very cramped in the dining room and quite loud. The food came out at different times and not 5 mins after it was more like 15 where we were just sitting with one meal. They do have patio seating too. We ordered the garlic knot which was huge and had delicious flavor. The rigatoni vodka sauce was very good added chicken. The portion was on the smaller side but it was crunchy cutlet. Also had the burrata pizza - it was mediocre felt like there could be more prosciutto, on it. Overall decent place but not in a hurry to return

Food was great. My wife and I split a sausage with hot pepper pie, Caesar salad, and calamari. Each dish was excellent. Our server was terrific on a busy night. Some seating is a bit tight and the room can be a little loud, YMMV. We'll definitely be returning for another excellent meal.

Overall, a great option and excited to have it in Hillsborough! The pizza was solid from the crust to the toppings, though a tad bit small. The pasta was good, but not as great as we have come to expect for Mother & Sons. The Caesar salad was pretty disappointing, there wasn’t much dressing, and what dressing there was did not spread evenly over the salad. Well, the calamari is pretty decent, I wish they would include a lemon, and be warned that there are also fried banana peppers, which we don’t prefer. The employees were cheerful, and obviously working hard, but also working out some kinks, in the opening few weeks. Seems like they might be stretched a little thin.

Very nice restaurant. The food was very good, service great,but way too loud. When you go there sit outside on the patio it won’t be so loud inside! you couldn’t talk to one another inside, even the waitress had a hard time talking and being heard. They don’t take reservations (except for six or more people). And they’re not open for lunch, check the times that are open.

This is very good italian food. We're very excited to have them in Hillsborough. I had chicken picada and my wife had Chicken parmesan both were excellent. They were busy, but the staff was very attentive. This is the best italian food in the area.By a lot.
