Customer Reviews
Came here and tried fufu and egusi for the first time, both of which had great taste and unique flavors, and I might have found a gluten free staple that I like. The pili pili sauce also complemeneted everything nicely. The price was reasonable and the fufu portion is huge, so you won't be leaving with an empty stomach. The owner was super nice, but seems like she's the only person working the front of house while helping out in the back, so don't expect a quick service.
Was visiting CU for work so didn’t know where to go. This was one of the more interesting options around and it didn’t disappoint. I had goat, jollof rice, soup, and fufu. Everything tasted great. The workers were very nice and hospitable. I’m looking forward to going again when I’m back in town.
This place blew me away!! First time ever having egusi soup and it’s my new favorite food. The owner was very kind, service was great, food was phenomenal. Will be back soon !
Whoever prepared the food really understands culinary. The food was so good. I had grilled fish and even chewed the tail. I had spinach stew and egusi as well. The apinach stew waa very different than I’ve had it but it was wspectacular!!!! The chicken in the egusi was tender and so delicious and the egusi was marvelous. I quenched my thirst with ginger drink. It wasn’t too sweet and was perfectly made. The prices were extremely cheap. Too cheap in my opinion for the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and taste like it had been made within the hour. This restaurant is a must visit!!!!
Ate here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. They seem a bit short staffed so be prepared to wait a bit if you dine in, but it didn't bother us much and the food was with the wait. We had the grilled goat, fufu, and bean soup. Everything was delicious, and the spicy sauce on the side really took it to the next level. We will definitely be back to try the Sunday buffet!
