Seoul Topokki

I was craving Korean food, and we were around the Allston area, so my friends and I decided to give it a try! Food: 4/5 We got the dak galbi and bulgogi kimbap and they were solid! I was a bit surprised and disappointed by the lack of side dishes like 90% of the Korean places I’ve been to have, but that’s just my personal preference. Service: 3/5 Our food took quite a long while to arrive, close to 50 minutes, despite there being hardly any people. The employees did come over and let us know it was backed up around 30 minutes in and told us it would be out shortly but it did take another 10 for the kimbap and another 10 on top of that for the dak galbi. Typically Korean places I’ve been to have quick, sharp service and in cases like these, offer a kind of compensation but they didn’t. Ag

Love this place! Most authentic chill Korean spot around Boston in my opinion. I like getting the dumpling soup on a cold day but their kimbap is always fresh. Interior reminds me of the cafes in Seoul. Plus the staff are always so nice.

This place is my new favorite Korean spot. As a Korean person, I can confidently say that it is 100% authentic. The food is delicious and on-spot with Korean flavors, the portions are generous, and the service is incredible. I came with my (white) girlfriend and we both loved the food so much. The vibe is upbeat and cozy without overbearing music or crowdedness. I can’t wait to come back! 감사합니다 😁

We absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious and incredibly affordable. While they have a limited menu, everything looked so appetizing, and we weren't disappointed. We tried the pancake, kimbap, and pork rice, and everything was good. The customer service was also exceptional - super friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal. Definitely will be coming back!

We are the Harvard Korean Association (HKA), a group of undergraduate Korean-American students at Harvard. For one of our major events involving Korean-Americans across the school, Seoul Topokki was our catering of choice. 사장님 was so kind and helpful in supporting us and the food was of course so delicious. A lot of the students rated this some of the best Korean food they’ve had in the area, and many of us hadn’t had such good authentic Korean food since leaving home. Seoul Topokki remains our students’ favorite food places and we are so happy we spent all our food budget here!! Thank you Seoul Topokki!
