While in Rehoboth Beach, we visited the Sen. McBride Beach Bathhouse. It is a spacious, clean, and beautiful area with lots of beach to explore. To the left, toward the lighthouse, is a restricted zone to protect wildlife. I enjoyed my walk and experience there.
I love it here. There’s toilet paper in the bathroom. The beach is easy to access. There’s indoor and outdoor showers available.
This place was perfect for what we needed. We parked here and there were plenty of spaces when we got there at 9:30 on a beautiful summer Friday. They looked hard to come by when we were leaving at 12:30. I saw conflicting information so I’ll say, we didn’t have to pay extra to park here or use these facilities. You pay to get into the state park ($5 for a DE vehicle and $15 for out of state). This place has men’s and women’s facilities with bathrooms and 4 (I think) shower stalls with a curtain, plus separate changing stalls with curtains. One shower wasn’t working, but there was no line or anything. Everything was clean enough for a beach bathroom! Perfect for a quick rinse off to enjoy the rest of the day or the ride home. The beach was nice, but definitely filled up by the time we we
Extremely crowded, easy beach access with bathrooms and showers. They also have a very small grill/cafe if you didn't come with food. The service friendly and pretty slow due to being understaffed and the food is mediocre. There is no trash service here so you'll need to take everything you bring including your garbage. Parking is only $10 for out-of-state cars. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas as well.
I have not been to a State Park in a bit, but last time the facilities at least looked clean. The men's room here was a disgrace. It is not about the crowds, or the time of day. The live spiders and egg sacks indicate a total lack of cleaning. My wife reports much the same for the women's. The food service across the way was pleasant, but the prices not even close to reason given the quality. The few tables to sit at are so old and weathered the wood sagged. Parking is excellent, wheel chair access is good.
