TEA-AKI

Our first time visiting. The prices were very reasonable and the food was tasteful and portions were generous. The environment was very clean and small( in a good way). The server was kind and who I believe was the manager was funny.

I absolutely adore the decor, and the soup. For they are both out of this world good, and good for you. Though they do have fatty offerings, should you require them. Wheelchair accessible with the friendliest young Mandarin speaking, yet easily comprehend-able to a "white boy" from B-More, ladies this side of the Silk Road. "Come for the art, stay for tea, enjoy some soup while you are here!"

We’ve been looking forward to eating here ever since the sign went up that it was coming to the new shopping strip and Tea-Aki did not disappoint! Friendly staff, pleasant calm atmosphere and a menu with good variety of izakaya-style dishes (but not overwhelming—I prefer a restaurant that does a set number of dishes really well). We have visited several times to pick up their tasty boba tea and stopped in for dinner of gyoza, cong you bing (thin scallion pancake), and hibachi shrimp, all delicious. Every staff member was gracious and friendly and the service smooth and prompt, and the owner stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. A great new addition to an area that needs more dining options away from Coastal Highway — we are looking forward to going back to Tea-Aki ma

Tokyo who??? I’ve been here twice. Both times, same exact quality of food AND service. I can’t decide which item is the star of the show.. Veggies, rice or proteins? Veggies are absurdly fresh and crunchy. Rice is like butter. Filet and shrimp are cooked to perfection. Salad is always crisp. Great people running this place too. Treat you like family. Thank you Tea-Aki! We will be back again and again.

This spot has such a calm and inviting feel. The decor is tasteful and creative, and the soup was absolutely satisfying. I liked that there were options depending on how light or rich you want your meal. The service was friendly and approachable, which made the visit even better.
