Sekai Sushi & Ramen

My mom and I were visiting Maryland and decided to stop here for lunch on a whim. We were craving sushi, and this spot was the closest one with the highest ratings. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the sake was served hot and tasted great. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I went to Sekai for the first time and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is spotless and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar, I could see how much care the chefs put into their work. Each roll was crafted like a piece of art. I’ve visited many sushi restaurants across the country, and Sekai truly stands out for the quality, craftsmanship, and atmosphere. I’m excited to return and try more of their menu, especially the ramen once the weather gets colder. For everyone at Sekai, thank you again for the wonderful dining experience! If you’re in the Delmarva area, I highly recommend making the stop for lunch or dinner.

This may be a small-town little Ramen restaurant, but the menu and the taste are not. I really enjoyed trying this place out for the first time. There is plenty of room in the parking lot to find any spot you need, it’s in a strip mall after all. When I walked inside, I was really taking back by how well decorated the place is and the small little details they add to everything. Each booth is separated by wooden walls, and the plates and bowls they serve the food on are all unique. I’m having a hard time remembering exactly what I ordered, but I know I got the seaweed salad and a chicken appetizer. The salad was incredible, and the chicken was crispy and hot when they served it out to us. We enjoyed spring rolls which were crispy and of course, a bowl of Ramen with chicken. My friend order

For you true sushi lovers that remembers Sushi de Kanpai or just know great sushi, I have found the BEST place on the shore. Sekai Sushi & Ramen is located in the strip under Salisbury University Housing on Business 13. When you go there, Eason, the Owner and Sushi Chef will treat you like family. Who knows, you might see Mrs. Kumi the owner of Sushi de Kanpai there enjoying some dinner ( she's there a lot, now that she is retired, enjoying dinner with her husband ). The food is off the chart. Try the Kabuki Roll, Special Scallop Roll, or the Oasis Roll. These rolls are Special Request and are out of this world. But what is even better.... thier Nigri selection is not to be messed with. I have not found a better selection anywhere else. You will not be disappointed.

Went for lunch, which I happily found they offered a lunch menu. The options are a great deal for what you get. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki Box, which was a healthy portion of teriyaki steak on a bed of veggies, rice, (2) gyoza, pineapple (which I didn't like), CA roll, rice, and a choice of either a house salad or miso soup. But I actually requested to sub out the CA roll for 2 sashimi. Our server had to ask if that request was permissable which for an upcharge was fine. Bathroom: They have single use men's and women's bathroom. Spacious and clean.
