Second Avenue Pizza

A must stop in Sandpoint after a full day of snowboarding. Pizzas are next level. Bring an appetite. The crust dough is fantastic and they pile on fresh toppings double height. Been coming back the last 4 years every season for the "Jukebox". It as if they made a pizza, then added a second layer of pizza on top. The place has a cool rustic feel that has been visited by famous musical acts. Definitely a can't miss.

I’m from New York and this spot is good. A unique style of pizza with generous toppings and a large restaurant with a small town vibe. Makes good leftovers. Great beer selection. Free parking lot.

The portion sizes are more than enough! Would recommend for tge best bang for your buck. The garlic pesto bred was so flavorful! It was just the right pesto. The custom pizza we got was also had good flavor too! There were so many options for toppings. The service was fast and friendly.

Don't let's the exterior of the building deceive you. The gal at the register and I had had a stare down after I told her I don't need forks, after the pizza arrived, she was in the right! I need the fork. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The portions are bigger then you imagine so order accordingly. Most important don't forget to tip the awesome staff.

Not sure where to start, the service.....I didn't see any employee smile or even appear to be at all happy, they brought the food, dropped it on the table and walked away. Not once were we asked if we needed anything or if we were enjoying the food. Maybe they were dealing with something that night. We were given a salad fifteen minutes after ordering, an hour later our 3 pizzas were brought out, 5 min later we got our garlic bread. In their defense in regards to the wait, they did have a sign saying "quality takes longer" but an hour and fifteen minutes when the restaurant was mostly empty seems extreme. The food, was okay.
