Paneah's Bistro

Awesome little bistro with yummy sandwiches and salad options! I stopped in at the last minute at 3:50 PM (as I thought) for a salad and cortado coffee. I’d never had a cortado and it was stronger than I expected, which is how it’s supposed to be (lol) so I ate the Greek salad, which was awesome, and sat trying to sip the coffee and saw the Paneah’s Bodega next door. This is their separate little coffee bar and it’s open till 6 pm. I went in there and got a croissant and the sweet barista completely filled up my cup with warm half and half to make it my preferred strength. This is the most awesome little coffee bar in the Cedar St. Bridge! Be sure to stop by and check out their huge variety of local gifts and goodies as well!

Paneah's is, without a doubt, the best coffee in Bonner County. Best service, too! Such an amazing atmosphere in the Bistro, and really the entire Cedar Street Bridge. It's a definite don't miss for visitors to Sandpoint and so many of us locals have made it a regular hang out! The sour dough cinnamon rolls are made fresh daily, along with so many other tasty treats. LOVE LOVE LOVE Panaeah's!

Panéah’s Bistro is such a warm and inviting place. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming in a way that reminds me of the small cafés and bistros I know from Europe — a place where you want to slow down, sit with friends, and truly enjoy the moment. Brice and Stacy have created something special here. The whole team is friendly and the vibe is relaxed and genuine. You can tell they care about more than just serving a quick coffee to go — it’s about creating a place where people feel comfortable, stay a while, and feel at home.

The breakfast burrito was pretty good if a bit pricey, but I get that everything is these days. I wish the salsa had an option with some heat though, flavor was good, but almost sweet, which isn't my style. Coffee was decent, service was lovely, and you can't really beat the atmosphere and location.

Paneah’s Bistro is a true gem where every detail feels intentionally thought out. From the warm inviting fireplace to the comfortable chairs, tables, and bar top, it’s an ideal spot whether you’re meeting friends or getting some work done. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The drinks are excellent—the vanilla latte was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, letting the coffee shine through. Their breakfast burrito? Absolutely incredible and unmatched, especially with the creamy cilantro sauce on the side, which is a total game changer. Next time you’re passing through Sandpoint make it a point to stop into the Cedar Street Bridge and give Paneah’s Bistro a try!
