Every time I return to Radford, Screamers is my must-visit spot! I've been a fan since my days living here, and the staff always makes me feel like family—their warmth and hospitality keep me coming back. The handmade dishes are delicious and fresh (those breakfast combos and griddle favorites hit different), the drinks flow perfectly, and the vibe is cool and comfortable with karaoke nights that get everyone singing. Nice relaxing atmosphere, great friendly staff, and the absolute best cheesecake around the NRV. The pictured Philly I got was takeout and minus onions but as you can see its huge and it is delicious.

Food is good every time I come. Some of the best phillys I’ve ever had. Staff are nice, prices are good, all around a great time. The atmosphere is a little odd and random but what would you expect from a place named Screamers? Definitely worth trying!!

After moving our daughter in at Radford and doing all the last minute stuff, it was late and we were hungry. I looked up places to eat near us and the reviews for Screamers were very positive. So we went, wasn't overly busy because they had just reopened from vacation. We met one of the owners, Joe, who also bartends and runs food. One hell of a nice guy and wasn't ultimately joking about portion sizes. My son ordered the chicken parm sub you see in the attached pictures. Joe certainly doesn't lie about his length! It was a FULL 12"! Even Ron Jeremy blushed! I had the chicken Philly and my wife the Greek pizza. All portions were the same! And the kicker was, it was phenomenal!
