Small business. Everything is made fresh, so it might take a little longer to get the food. Probably one of the best BBQ places in Colorado. The prices are not too crazy either. It was delicious, and they have lots of bbq sauces and they are all delicious.

12/14/25 update. Finally tried the collards as I came really late and they were virtually sold out.. DANG! by far the best flavored collards I’ve EVER had and quite frankly I’m putting my Nonnie in 2nd 😞. Scooters never disappoints!! Super friendly staff. Pulled pork is fantastic, sauces are on point and can we just go ahead and talk about this side okra. Hands down biggest side portion ever and they are great as well!! This GA guy APPROVES! Glad I I’ve in Idaho Springs now and got this a short distance away

As a local in Georgetown, I have told people from all over to check out this amazing BBQ spot. They make everything from scratch. You will be so impressed! Their sauces are also homemade and amazing! Not only is their food good, but it is a local family who runs it. They are always so wonderful! I recommend the fried okra as a side with sliced brisket. We have also really enjoyed the hand battered chicken tenders! You cant go wrong!!!

Little small shack you order inside and go get sitting outside. Wear sunscreen because it gets hot fast. Dog friendly. Has 1 bathroom inside. Food is fantastic. Nice adventure! Parking is limited, best to park across street. Opens at 1130, gets busy by noon.

Stopped here for lunch—delicious food, wonderful service, can’t wait to visit again. I’ll be dreaming about the baked beans! Small counter service if you want to eat inside*
