Schooner's BBQ Shack

This place was so good. Just off the highway. I showed up about an hour before close. They were out of chicken but I ended up getting a brisket (chopped) sandwich and the ribs and a side of the potato salad. Very happy I found this place. The meat just fell off the bone and the brisket was lean and tender. I cannot remember the sauce I added to it but it was amazing. I highly suggest this place if you are passing by.

Best BBQ in the state of Florida! Fresh made everyday and smoked to perfection, the best Brisket you will ever have topped with the best sauce in town. Amazing food and big portions for a great price. Always leave with a full belly and big smiles on our faces. Family run and the owners are so sweet, friendly and welcoming, make you feel right at home. If you are in the area or visiting, you have to stop by! Seriously the best find since we’ve been out here and in my top favorite places to eat ever. The also updated their seating area and it looks gorgeous! Very comfortable. Come early, they are open for lunch and close when they sell out as they’re a local favorite and fresh smoked every day instead of writing a janky review! Best time is before 1pm. This is the best BBQ I have ever had. It is outstanding. I only write reviews when things are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. I cannot recommend this place enough. Every thing I had (ribs, brisket, green beans, coleslaw) was excellent and crafted with precise attention. The flavors are way above what you would expect for a casual outdoor spot on the side of the road.

Absolutely the best pulled pork with slaw sandwich I’ve had. The Mac & cheese is quite delicious too. Give this place a try, you won’t be sorry!

Best BBQ I've had in Sebring. Fall off the bone ribs and melt in your mouth brisket. You don't even have to chew it. Very friendly and heaping amounts of meat on their sandwiches, just 5 star all around. All I can say is that if you don't go get ya' some, you are surely missing out. Great job!!! Definitely be back soon..
