Savannah Beach

This is my favorite beach in Lewes and Rehoboth! It's convenient to restrooms and Dairy Queen!! The beach is a perfect depth and width. It's clean! Parking is limited but adequate. I recommend it as long as you don't want a boardwalk. Enjoy!

Lewes Beach, now known as Savannah Beach, is family oriented and not busy when compared to Rehoboth Beach. It does not have a boardwalk, but who needs a boardwalk when you can walk out on the water for a while and the water still reaches your knees or waist. The water is calm and doesn’t really have waves, which is perfect for small children. There is a beach patrol booth and there are showers and bathrooms available if needed. There is parking available, you don’t have to pay after a certain time. This beach is great and I will return again.

When we visited Savannah Beach we did not stay long. On that stretch of beach the sand was very course and rough on our feet. It did have a runner to make it more accessible to those with mobility issues, and there was a beach volleyball net set up when we were there.

My favorite beach spot, being a local. It’s got two showers available in the shower house, along with many bathrooms. Outside shower to rinse off publically. Snack bar. Great parking. And it’s usually very family friendly! Highly recommend!

Very laid back beach in Lewes Delaware. Small ranger station with restrooms is only real amenity (so bring your own everything). Plenty of parking by the hour with a 2 hour minimum ($2.50 per hour). Lifeguards on duty. Very close to restaurants and shops in Lewes. Great spot.
