Sauced U.P. Pizza

We. LOVED this pizza. Everything fresh and made on-site. The All About Mushrooms was a huge favorite. The antipasto salad was generous enough to share and the dressings all made in house. We will definitely be back next summer season and are looking forward to it! Suggest a sweet option of the breadsticks with butter and cinnamon-sugar for dessert!

Sauced Up Pizza is an absolute must-stop in the U.P.! Their pizza is out of this world—crispy edges, the perfect amount of sauce, and loaded with flavor in every bite. We also tried the giant soft pretzel with beer cheese, and it was just as amazing. The food here goes beyond expectations and feels like true comfort with a gourmet twist. Whether you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you’ll be hooked after the first bite!

There is no service. You order online or at the bar. The pretzel was good but the beer cheese had the consistency of water! As did the ranch for the salad. The sauce on the pizza was very salty. We ended up getting everything to go because it was hot in the restaurant.

We visited for dinner on a Tuesday in August. There was no wait. We dined in the brewery. We got the kids a cheese pizza and my husband and I got dinner salads and the sampler pizza. We also got cheese sticks. The pizza was tasty but very filling. The dipping marinara sauce for the cheese sticks was very sugary tasting, which we didn't like. But the pizza sauce was traditional.

Pizza is my favorite food. I have been eating it for nearly 50 years all across the US. This is the best pizza I have ever had!! Perfectly done Detroit style pizza. Crunchy crust on the outside and fluffy inside. Great cheese and pepperoni. The highlight is the sauce. It is full of flavor with the right amount of sweetness. Service is great and friendly. And how great to have it in the brewery right near the water. I cannot say enough about this place!!
