Delicious food (including unlimited hushpuppies!). We stopped in randomly in the middle of a long drive and it was a great unexpected meal. We also did the Rooster Challenge and got tshirts which was very fun. If you're ever in the area, I recommend it. The place does feel like a large abandoned office, though, so don't be surprised to sit under harsh florescent lighting.

If you want atmosphere, keep looking. If you want great food and prompt friendly service at very reasonable prices, then look no further. We had broiled catfish and jumbo shrimp. Both good choices. We left with our bellies full and smiles on our faces. All of the side planks are fantastic and the hush puppies are out of this world.

For a place to stop at on the side of the road on a whim, it's a find. The small platter is really small, like the size of plate a side of fries usually comes on. The dining room looks like a church meeting hall mixed with an office from 1998. HOWEVER, unlimited hush puppies. Don't be a weenie, do the rooster challenge.

Passing through going to kinston for a basketball game and decided to stop. We knew it would be busy because of the Friday before Valentine’s Day. The sitting area was packed but there was only a 30-40 minute wait. 35 minutes later we were seated. Flounder, Jumbo Shrimp and Talipipa were fresh, hot, great flavor. Service was phenomenal. Server said she drives from FarmVille to work because it is a great place to work. We would give it a 10 if we could. Stop by anyday.

New discovery as we were driving! I needed gas and there it was... Ok. Let's try something new! Best decision ever! It's like an old fashioned "fish camp". Large servings. Best fried shrimp and oysters. Slaw was sweet. Salad was fresh. Plenty of tables. Lots of staff. Huge dining room that quickly fills up on a weekend. Highly recommend 👌
