San Pablo Library - Contra Costa County Library

What can I say? I truly love everything about this place. It provides such important resources, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. Everyone does their best to guide you in the right direction, even when they don’t immediately have all the answers. This place is a safe sanctuary for our community, and I’m so grateful for each of you who works hard to keep it running.

Allows weird grown men to hang out in the kids section of the library! Caught multiple men being creepy watching the young children, pretending to look at books!! SMH disgusting and they don’t do anything about it! Felt very uncomfortable. Security just sits there at the front desk on their phone! Library staff need to do routine checks to make sure our children are safe! Even grown men with special needs need to be in the adult section!

They allow homeless to hang out there. They have security but that person just sits at a desk on their phone. I don't feel safe

This library has a good collection of children's books. It is easy to get a library card in person, just present your id and you get it right there. No wait time. They also have self checkout counters.

Really nice library! The parking is God-awful, but other than that. Story times are fun here too.
