Birrieria La Perla Tapatia

This spot is a gem. The menudo is my favorite; it honestly reminds me of my tias cooking on the weekends. That’s not easy to pull off. The tortillas are great, super fresh, and flavorful. You can tell it’s a family-owned business, and the service reflects that. Everyone is welcoming, laid back, and genuinely cool. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

The BEST quesabirria place in the east bay! I drive all the way over to Richmond from Oakland when I want quesabirrias, there’s something special about the spices in the meat and the perfectly done tortillas. One of my favorite comfort foods. The steak tacos are also absolutely delicious! Would give 10 stars. Also everyone there is super nice!

We were too hungry to post pics sadly. But the quesabirria was really good. Savory and gooey as required. My hubs was very pleased with his Al pastor super burrito. Said he was craving exactly what they gave him. Thank you!

I had to try their birria tacos based on the great reviews and it did not disappoint! Fresh, authentic and handmade corn tortillas. Delicious! Friendly staff.
