San José Mexican Grill

We were there at noon on a Sunday. We were greeted and seated promptly. Nice roomy booths. The waiter was very friendly and arrive quickly with chips and salsa. I ordered a Burrito Birria which was nicely seasoned, with shredded beef. It was not served with rice or beans, or lettuce or cheese on the side which I found unusual. The burrito was generously sized and enjoyable. At this time, they had a limited beer selection. Enjoyable dining.

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN MIAMI COUNTY KS.For an adult beverage try their sangria margaritas. Been here a bunch everything is great. Tried El Toriador this time it was perfect. Wife had 🌮 tacos just to make room for fried ice cream. ALL GOOD SUPPORT THIS NEW RESTAURANT!!

Update: We gave it another shot. My enchiladas came out cold. The inside was barely warm at all and the cheese was cold. Except for dessert at the bar here and there, we won't come back for food. Super cool place!!! The decor is nice amd the booths are comfy. It took us a while to get seated. No big deal. We had servers walk past us for 10 minutes before getting our drink order taken. Then we waiting another 5 plus minutes for our order to be taken. We were patient as it seemed to be a little busy. The salsa was not very good and you could taste the grease in the basic cantina chips. I ordered fish tacos. They were so bland. No flavor at all. My husband ordered Quesabirras. They were these weird and super thin. He opened it up and there was hardly any meat in them. (Photo below). He said

We came in from CA for our Grandma’s 90th birthday and came here for lunch. All of the food was excellent. The lunch portions were generous and affordable! The service was great as well, we had multiple servers checking on us throughout the meal. We even got dessert and it was served on the most adorable cart. Our grandma was thrilled. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Everything about this restaurant was exceptional! We drank House margaritas and ordered Baja rolls for our appetizer. Then for the main course we had the Pollo Feliz and the El Toriado.
