Canaan Oaks ~ Bed & Breakfast

Absolutely most beautiful, comfortable and hospitable place we've ever stayed! Must be a secret but needs to made known! Barbara and family are the tops! The hostess with the mostess by far! The grounds are surrounded by wooded nature with paths to walk, peaceful outdoor sitting areas (both inside and outside). Perfect for couples getaway, weddings, group retreats or meetings, you name it! Highly recommended. GOD's peaceful, loving and joyful presence so obvious in that place.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place. My friend and I had a crochet retreat and could easily see thus place for a scrapbooking weekend or a women's retreat. Lovely rooms, lots of sitting areas, charming country decor. Barb is delightful-- a great cook, gives you privacy but there if you need her. We sat and watched the oak trees move in the wind from our sheltered deck while drinking our morning tea-- bliss.

One of the most wonderful places to stay. Beautiful home with quiet, relaxing sitting areas outdoors. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was unique.||Barbara is an excellent host. I recommend Canaan Oaks if you are looking for a great getaway.

Our stay at Canaan Oaks was wonderful! Making the reservation was very easy. Barbara welcomed us when we arrived, and showed us around this very large, very lovely property. The beautiful decor is just so charming! We stayed in the Antique Rose Suite which was beautiful and very roomy. The walkin bathroom is very large and spotless. Our King bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa bed for our adult daughter. Barbara offered us use of the large family room down the hall with surround sound tv, a DVD player, comfy couches, chairs and afghans, game tables and more. After a restful sleep, Barbara served us a delicious, hearty and beautiful breakfast. We would loved to have stayed longer at this beautiful B&B, ejnoying the comfort, warm hospitality and watching flocks of turkeys strol

This is a pleasant country getaway with spacious rooms, patios, and surroundings. Barbara, the owner, goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. When she had 2 cancellations, and we were first time guests, she immediately upgraded us to a suite at the same price. We stayed in the Picket Fence Room with private deck, and shared kitchen and sitting room. Lots of tastefully decorated theme rooms; items carefully chosen to coordinate with the theme. Our room had custom made furniture to reflect the picket fence theme as well as birdhouse decor. Room had a ceiling fan, rotating floor fan, as well as AC.||Lots of extra touches such as toiletries, cups, pens--all with the Canaan Oaks logo. When I mentioned an empty hummingbird feeder, Barbara promptly refilled it. It
