Samurai Sushi and Grill

They cant handle serving more than 1 table at a time. The place was dead but it would take 45 munutes to get the 2 rolls we ordered because there was a table ahead of us?? Would have been nice to know that before being seated and taking the newborn out of the carseat to be fed....we got up and left. Place also amelled bad and we did not see thier rating displayed anywhere.

This is our go to sushi place in town. The food is always consistently amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We have never had a bad experience here.

I’ve been here a few times. Food is ok. I just don’t like that the white fish sashimi is Tilapia. Tilapia is gross to me. I wouldn’t eat it cooked at all. The chef is great. His name is Junior with an apprentice named David. The miso soup could’ve used a little kombu flavor. They need to have more assortment of tea.

This was the WORST Japanese food I’ve ever eaten! And I’ve been eating Japanese food for 50 years. It made both my daughter and me feel sick. The miso soup had a strange taste. And the California roll was absolutely awful. They use smaller shrimp for their tempura than I’ve ever seen. A cost cutting feature, no doubt. The waitress was lovely - very friendly and kind. I hope she gets some experience and moves on. We’ll never return.

There is one item on the menu that this samurai sushi doesn't have that other samurai sushi have. And this item is a very delicious one. It's called the monkey brain. This is tempura mushroom cut in half with spicy tuna, avocado and cream cheese in the middle. Served with a small salad.
