Sam's Hot Dogs

Ate there a few weeks back while visiting Charleston, my hometown. Called a friend asking where the “best hot dogs” were served, and she recommended SAM’s on the Westside of Charleston. October 2025 Impressed. Delicious, Hot, Fresh, and succulent ..and a perfect WV HotDog. I suggest the Mild Chili though. The slaw was fantastic, as were the buns.. I went English Style this time, harking back to Bowincal. Wow. A+ The gals serving were great too. Thanks. Ex-Pat living in Florida HC Halbert

I walked in to Sam's in downtown charleston. Walked up to the counter and stood there waiting while the three employees sat behind the gas station counter, on the counter. Finally, I started to walk out the door when one of the employees asked if I needed anything which I replied not anymore.

Pennsylvania Ave. in Charleston WV is my favorite place to get a hot dog when I'm traveling. 5 stars for service and 5 more for food quality.

Best hotdogs around!!! Pepperoni rolls are Awesome too!!! Love evetything I've tried so far! Friendly staff too!

Never have change for poker room. Saw people that work there gambling when they were supposed to be working. Place is now shut down.
