The Dancing Dog Ice Cream Cafe is an absolute gem! Every time I visit, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming—they always make you feel right at home. While their ice cream is famous (and rightfully so!), you absolutely have to try their savory items. The smash burger is easily one of the best in the city: perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to crispy-edged perfection. And please, do not skip the pasta salad! It's fresh, tangy, and the perfect side to cut through the richness of the burger. Great food and genuinely friendly service make this place a winner. I can't recommend it enough!

This place is a little slice of heaven. I had no clue this place existed until about two months ago. My family loves this place. The burgers are seasoned and oh, the fries are perfect! Now let’s talk ice cream…thee absolute best in house made in Charleston, hard stop! They always have such fun and unique flavors. The best atmosphere and the twins are delightful, attentive, and friendly. They make my day whenever I pick up my order. Support this small business!

It could be that it was exactly what I was craving today but the smashed burger was not just the best smash burger I've had but may have been the best burger, period, that I've had that wasn't by my own hand. I also had the hand cut fries. A lot of places will just phone it in one the fries when hot food isn't their main focus. Not here. The fries were perfect - crisp outside, fluffy inside, salted just enough. Service was very friendly, too. I'll be back! Update: It wasn't just because I was hungry. That smash burger is terrific! Well i went back today and even tho i dont like beef hot dogs i decided to try one jus for the heck of it and my mind has been changed. It was the best beef hot dog I've ever had! The bun was toasted, the chili and slaw was on point! We have a winner here! I will definitely be a regular customer! Next i will try the fish. The hot dog was so good, I could only take a pic of what was left!
