Sambong Suwanee 삼봉냉면 스와니점

The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The food was not great. The ox-bone soup with brisket was very, very bland. It basically tasted like hot water. The brisket was tough and flavorless. The marinated bbq short ribs were not actually short ribs. It was just thinly sliced beef with a lot of fat. No bones were in the meat like in the menu picture (attached). The bbq ribs cost $27, not worth it.

I had a wonderful experience here. The food was served very quickly and everything was delicious. The restaurant has a modern and stylish interior that feels both clean and unique. I appreciated the self-service station for water and utensils—it was very well organized and tidy. The background music was soft and relaxing, creating a pleasant atmosphere without being distracting. Overall, a great dining experience that I would highly recommend!

This is our second time there and I ordered the same thing as first time because it’s that good. My husband ordered a cabbage soup last and it was not his favorite so this time he got the spicy noodles with kalbi and he likes it. We would definitely go back for the soup dish on any rainy day or no rainy day.

We tried the Duluth location and was please with the food, when we discovered that Suwanee also has a location, we got to try it again. The BBQ Short Ribs are excellent, the Ox-bone soup with dumplings was also flavorful, though you have to add salt to the soup as you like bc it came unseasoned. The soup has slices of tender beef, sticky rice cakes and 3 dumplings. Previous time I tried the short ribs soup with cabbage but was not impressed. The soup is flavorful, but soup ingredients were lacking. The original cold noodle soup was delicious but not enough ingredients, just a ball of noodle, one boiled egg and ONE slice of beef. This is their new location, which is just as good as their original spot in Duluth. The space is larger, so it’s roomier and comfortable. Everything is very clean. The food is great and high quality. Will definitely be coming back again!
