Sam Walker's American Tavern - Swampscott

Everything was absolutely delicious! I live 3 mins away, and will definitely be back often to try the whole menu. Our waiter Brian was very nice and helpful. Best restaurant in Vinnin square without a doubt!

Food & drinks are amazing! So far I’ve tried the loaded tater tots, wings, chicken pesto pasta, smash burger, short rib grilled cheese & Heath bar bread pudding…. All 10/10! Bianca & Nate are great! Highly recommend Sam Walker’s

From the moment we walked in until the moment we departed, our experience at Sam Walkers in Swampscott was nothing shy of excellent. The drinks and appetizers were delicious and well timed. Our dinner was likewise delicious and well portioned. Had we not been going out after dinner we would have gotten dessert also, but we do plan to return at a later date to try the desserts! Our server Alexa S was attentive, kind and educated on the menu. She offered suggestions and answered our questions in a friendly and detailed manner. Her suggestion of the loaded tater tot appetizer was appreciated as they were delicious in both flavor and texture. Oh. My. Days! This spot is legit! Great atmosphere for game day. PHENOMENAL food! Good beer selection... and even a "Hair of the Dog" drinks menu with Adult Iced Coffee and Breakfast Sangria on there! Staff are super cool and even with a 45 minute wait for a table we were happy and communicated with continually (book ahead!!). It just opened but will likely be our new local haunt. The bar has such a great vibe and homey feel. Great experience and amazing on the taste buds!!
