Salvatore's Italian Grill

My husband and I flew to Ohio last year, specifically to celebrate our second wedding anniversary at Salvatore’s. A couple of years prior, I had visited twice with a friend’s family, and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’m from Wisconsin, and there is absolutely nothing like their chicken francaise where I live. I talked about it constantly. My husband even tried recreating it at home, but it was never the same. I truly dreamed about going back. Unfortunately, this anniversary visit was incredibly disappointing. To start, we felt ignored by the hosts while waiting to be seated. Came here on a recommendation from a friend, thinking that this was your typical small town Italian restaurant and boy was i wrong! This place is 100 percent fine dinning, with menu options that would make you think you were eating out someplace not with in Ohio state lines. I opted to go with the bourbon salmon and lobster tail with a baked potato, but started off with some bruschetta and a side of fettuccini alfredo. All of which were amazingly prepared and came out quickly! Service here was amazing we came in with no reservations and were seating with in 10 minutes. I will be coming back here even if i have no business in Ohio.

We recently held a celebration of life for my mother at Salvatore’s Italian Grill following her funeral, and I truly cannot say enough about how incredible Salvatore and his entire team were. From the moment we reached out on short notice, they went above and beyond in every possible way. Nearly double the number of guests we expected showed up, and yet the staff handled it with grace and efficiency—adding tables and seats on the fly without a single complaint. Every member of the team was professional, warm, and genuinely kind. In one of the most emotionally difficult moments of our lives, they made us feel cared for and supported. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you, Salvatore, for helping us honor my mom with such dignity and love.

I recently dined at this location for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The cuisine was exceptional, particularly the hot peppers in oil, which surpassed any I've had locally. I highly recommend the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo and Southern Tour of Italy. Everything was reminiscent of homemade cooking. The restaurant's Christmas decorations created a lovely ambiance. Our server, Leah, provided exceptional service, expertly guiding us through appetizer selections and showcasing her extensive knowledge of the menu. Her courtesy was outstanding.

Me and my family love Salvatore’s! From the service to the food, everything is outstanding! If anyone comes into town I always recommend Salvatore’s as one of my top 3 suggestions! The atmosphere is also very beautiful. Definitely recommend the bar side of the restaurant!
