Places Security and cigar lounge is an absolute joke .You pay 1,000$ plus for a membership and They let some drug addict come up to me and harrass me and steal my 25$ salad I paid for at the resort then Move it across the lounge and then proceed to tell me “ I am sitting elsewhere because her group “paid more “ for a reservation for my table “ when the lounge does not ACCEPT RESERVATIONS . After checking in the with the front desk . Nobody seems to know the policy or care to help paying Members . The perpetrator lady was clearly (on drugs ) and come up to me and stole a 25 $ salad I paid for at the table I was was sitting at trying to watch the local hockey game at minding my own business listening to the free live music . I've stayed weekends in the rooms at Avalon many times and I'm always impressed! The front desk, to restaurant staff and gym/pool experience has always been tip top! They recently added an outdoor pool/spa that is breathtaking as well! The food here is incredible and room quality is great! Stay the weekend or Staycation the week, either way you will be impressed. Lastly the fitness center is great, with all new equipment and something for everyone! Love it here!

2 nice outdoor pools, restaurant food, and good service. Recently, I took 3 golf lessons with Joe, the golf professional at the Avalon, and the lessons were very insightful and helpful. Great place to swim during the summer too.

I recently had my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Avalon and I was extremely impressed with the level of service we received. The event coordinator Rachel was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions and the event Manager Tina went above and beyond what was expected to insure everything was how I wanted it. She even stayed late to help us set up the night before! And she stopped by during the party to give my parents a card and me a treat which I thought was unbelievably thoughtful! The wait staff was extremely professional and attentive. I was thoroughly pleased with the whole experience and would highly recommend this venue for your next party/event.
