Carney Wagyu

I am glad another reviewer commented on the deli. Very reasonable prices on meat and cheese and cannot wait to try the brown sugar ham, muenster cheese and bacon we got. Now for the star of the show: the ribeye. I had Kobe beef steak at Salacia in VA Beach a few years ago, so I don't mind paying for quality meat. Sadly, it's winter, so outdoor grilling or fire cooking over apple wood didn't happen. Nonetheless, the old cast iron skillet, butter, salt, pepper, 6 minutes per side and I must say, to quote Chef Gordon Ramsey, "it's beautifully cooked " I could cut the steak with a fork. I actually did. S o tender. So juicy. It lives up the hype. If you like steak, and don't drown it with sauce, do yourself a favor and give this a try. Amazing.

Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had, and it’s from locally bred cattle in Southington. Reasonably priced too compared to a lot of the wagyu I’ve seen out there.

I’ve had steaks from Daniel Boulud at La Tête d’Or, Peter Luge, Smith and Wollensky and the NY strip we got at Carney was as good as any of them. The meat was so tender and flavorful and dripping with fat. It was frankly incredible.

The best butcher shop in trumbull county. The Deli has great lunch meat! The meat is not weighted with brine water. You get more per LB than grocery stores. The meatballs and beef sticks are a favorite. You must go! We don't buy meat anyplace else anymore! It's worth the extra 50 per trip we spend. Plus the meat is raised in Southington, Ohio so all of the money is staying in our county!

Enough said. I love this place. The jerky is outstanding. Beef bacon. Out of this world
