Salty Dogs Cafe and Bark Bar

I stopped in for a quick bite and the Salty Dog did not dissapoint! Easily located right on the highway in Holden Beach it's a hidden gem. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was spectacular! I had the hot lobster roll with butter and it was a real pleaser! The lobster was fresh, warm, and tender and the butter really complimented it well. That was it and all it needed to be, plain and simple perfection! It came with a side of chips but I ate those with a bit of the dill shrimp pasta. Overall this was a real treat that I'll be sure to stop at again if I'm in the area.

Great vibe and bring your dog.. I did not eat this time but I have before.. They have great burgers, I hear good things about the lobster roll. Staff is great and friendly.

What a gem we accidentally discovered on our first thrifting and beach adventure with our pup! There's the cafe/deli with delicious sandwiches (Boars head) and gluten free bagels and then the cute bar, both of which are dog friendly and then there is the awesome grassy fenced area with comfy Adirondack chairs and picnic tables and a little dog agility course. They even have raised dog beds and some games outside of the dog park area. Highly recommend as a great place to enjoy with or without your dog!

We popped in for a quick lunch. Met the owner and 1 of her employees. Man , great place , super clean and the lobster and pimento cheese sandwich was excellent. Give this place a try
