Dock House Seafood & More

What an amazing Staff, location, atmosphere and everything in between. We all loved the food and the selection. The wait time was 100% beyond reasonable and they were extra accommodating! Since we ate outside with amazing sunset, I brought my 4-legged son & they couldn't have been kinder! We ate so fast we forgot to take most of the pictures of the best entrée's! Not necessarily a bad thing because now you'll have to go and check it out

A nice venue on the water. With no reservation right at 6 pm we had a 45 min wait. But we were able to chill on the patio and have a drink. Ample seating while you wait. The atmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly. My meal was good. I’d go back.

Dock House has delicious food! My husband and I split the coconut shrimp as an appetizer, I had the baked sea bass, and he got the seafood pot pie. If we were just reviewing the food, it would be 5 stars! The service however was definitely lacking. I understand that this is a casual dining atmosphere, but we ran out of beverages halfway through our meal, no one checked on us after our food arrived to see if we needed seasonings, and when we did finally get someone’s attention for a refill, they brought back a single drink for us to split. We will likely be back, but maybe just for takeout.

Worst meal I’ve ever had at Holden Beach. I’m 99% sure the slaw in the shrimp tacos was bagged mix and expired. It came with chips that were straight out of a bag. Ordered a pomegranate martini that tasted like cough syrup, there was almost no pomegranate in it.

I got the blackened salmon on the dock house salad, and it was delicious. The candied pecans and Asian croutons were also good. I loved the view from the balcony.
