Salt and Meadow

Are you in love with waterfront restaurants? Look no more, this place is spectacular. Warm ambiance, competent and kind staff, amazing mouth watering meals, and views.

Unfortunately a disappointing menu - minimal to no local seafood options (prawns from Nova Scotia, lobster that is not local to Bay). Service was ok - we waited 30+ minutes for a bottle of wine, received our food before the bottle of wine. The salad and crab cake was 5/5 and the atmosphere was beautiful - we were seated by the window and had a great view!

Our first time here and it was such a great time. From the time you step foot in the hotel they greet you with a smile. The rest was absolutely amazing. Sitting on the patio having a good drink and a good charcuterie board was just the ticket after a morning boat ride. The chicken Cesar salad is amazing with the kale mix. The bar is a must see for sure. Ask for Frank he's great and few others too. The desserts was very delicious. Get the chocolate cake and expresso ice cream.

I could not rave about this place more. The service was fantastic. The food is delicious —for lunch we had the chicken sandwich. For dinner, we tried the pretzel and cheese appetizer, crab agnolotti, beef tenderloin, sorbet, and peanut butter pie -we were so happy with everything we tried. They also had a great selection of wines!

My Wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Salt and Meadow. I was a little concerned having read about complaints of slow service but our waitress, Ruth, did a wonderful job. She was very prompt with our drinks and food. We had the rock fish special that was delicious and the beef filet. A very enjoyable evening.
