Salt and Lime Cave Creek

I don’t even know what to think about the people who have left good reviews. Like, are you ok? Have you never heard of spices? It’s just absolutely terrible food. I live close by and really, really wanted to like it. I’ve tried a number of times and each time I remember why it’s not the “just ok” I’m willing to settle for. i promise you I am not joking, we are running through Taco Bell after this. Seriously go to Filiberto’s if you want not basic Mexican. It’s better and you don’t have to overpay for it.

This place is a favorite! We're so lucky to live nearby. Love the pork dishes - chile verde and carnitas are exceptional, as is the roasted chicken tostada. Carrieann is great fun, friendly, and professional. Just thinking about it, I want to go back NOW!

Salt and Lime appears to be a very clean restaurant with festive decorations. Unfortunately, their only inside seating are high top tables or seats at the bar. It was noisy and hard to carry on a conversation. There were several tv's with various sports programs and music playing. The food was good; but not exceptional. The service was high point of our dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and extremely officiant!

Place is terrible! We came in at 8:00pm on a Saturday night completely dead! They would not serve one of my friends saying he was to drunk! Actually guy barely drank this evening! Then they had the audacity to call the next door restaurant to inform them! Cave Creek resident and will never visit this place and let everyone know not to either!! Ridiculous!!

It’s cooler outside. Low 50’s. We are regulars. Visit this place sometimes 2-3 times a week. Front door is propped open and it’s uncomfortably cold inside. We asked the bartender Marcos who is super cool to plz close the front door and he did. The manager opened it back up. Silly! People are wearing jackets in the restaurant. Good Luck!! We left without having dinner!
