We came right on time for Saturday happy hour specials. The strawberry sangria and the Sicilian margarita was so delicious, refreshing, and perfect. We ordered calamari and garlic bread for apps. Calamari was fresh and crispy. The nice surprise was the peppers in it. Garlic bread was crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The pizza was a bit of a let down as our expections were high for a Sally’s Apizza. We’ve never had it and we’re so excited to try. We ordered the mozzarella and tomato pie. It was okay. Maybe it wasn’t our type of pizza but we’ve had modern and frank Pepe’s and find their pizza more delicious than Sally’s. Service was amazing and the vibes were great inside. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back for happy hour and maybe try a different pie!
Great spot for classic Connecticut-style pizza. We tried the tomato pie with pepperoni: perfectly thin crust, chunky tomato sauce, and just the right crisp. The potato rosemary pizza was a pleasant surprise and ended up being a favorite. The garlicky white base was incredibly flavorful and paired so well with the rosemary and potatoes. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Santos was my server at the bar and was incredible! He was extremely attentive and made sure I felt comfortable. The pizza was also delicious! If you’re not a thin crust fan, you may not enjoy but as someone who likes thin crust and the slightly burnt ends, it was great. Oh and if you come during the holiday season, I highly recommend the Cranberry Margarita! Super yummy!
I stopped in during my Christmas shopping. I sat at the bar and the bartender took my order quickly. I crushed a peroni and a shot of Jameson. The pizza was very tasty! The booze definitely helped the Christmas shopping! I really like the big TV wall.
I was excited to find a Sally's Apizza here at the mall, but the quality was not the same as the New Haven location. Pizza was still good, but the beer wasn't fresh even though it was on draft, and most importantly the service was not good. I don't think anyone of the customers were happy, which I feel that the management should coach their employees again with the core values.
