My partner and I had a wonderful experience here! Our room was prepared early and they had gifted us a bottle of champagne for our stay. Service was very kind and helpful, and the rooms and hallways are beautiful! We will definitely be returning. Within 5-10 minute walk to all the downtown shops and galleries.

😊: We loved everything about the room and the location.. 😢: When booking the room, we picked the option "breakfast included", so we paid for breakfast. However, when arriving in the room, we found a note telling us that the hotel didn't serve breakfast anymore with a coupon (10%) for some breakfast spots in the village. I totally understand their reasons for not serving breakfast anymore, but what I don't understand is not communicating about it. When you pay for something, you expect that service, or a refund for that service. We also didn't see any staff when checking in, so we couldn't ask anything about it. When I messaged the owner about a compensation, the owner ignored my message. Again, we totally understand things might change, but it's only decent to communicate in advance..

After spending $256.09 per night for this room, I expected better. Contactless check-in was easy. The room was ok. The bed and pillows are ok. The bathroom sucked. Too small. The toilet is too low. Sink too low and the mirror too. The shower is kids' size, not adults'. No ice machine. Fridge and coffee maker in the room. No breakfast. Discount coupons are available for local restaurants, but be mindful of which day you choose to visit. One was closed on one day, and the other on the second day. I have been in historic, think colonial-era, houses before, and this one was very impersonal. No one here. The front door did not auto-lock, and I was surprised to find it still open in the morning. I would not stay here again. I would not recommend!

Selected this because of location and breakfast included. Arrived at night. Found note on the bed saying there would be no breakfast. Big disappointment. Neither was there any refund for lack of breakfast. Websites like this one need to quit saying there will be breakfast. Location is great within easy walking distance of Bearskin Neck and shops. Inn is totally clean. Room was cramped. There was no second luggage stand. Had to use suitcase on the floor. Phone message when reserving was answered promptly, but there is no one from management on the property.
