Seven South Street Inn

My husband and I stayed for a three day weekend in room #3, which is a nice room with a private bathroom in the Victorian house. Debbie, the innkeeper, was very accommodating during our stay. Our flight brought us in early, so she was able to do an early check-in for us. They have different coupons and discounts for restaurants and activities in the area. It's a five minute walk from the harbor nearby, and also about a 5 minute walk from a private beach that sits behind it. This location was perfect to check out the beach and the touristy spots that we love so much. The breakfast we had was fresh fruit, a smoothie, a blueberry pastry, and puff pastry egg tarts along with coffee. Everything was phenomenal. We spent a lovely 3 nights at Seven South Street Inn. We had a lovely and comfortable room, and Debbie and Nick took good care of us during our stay. And the food - excellent! Debbie prepared the most amazing breakfasts. I'm vegan and was overjoyed with the abundance of fresh, homemade, delicious food options including fantastic pumpkin scones. We would love to go back and relish in the peace and quiet of the Inn.

Our suite was great and extremely comfortable and homey. I was not a breakfast person, but Deb has certainly given me a new prospective and appreciation. This meal is served with wonderful attention to detail and a smile. Both mornings were excellent and started the day off on a high . Jim knows so much about the area and what might be of interest and how to find the easiest ways to get around. Thanks to you three for making "another birthday" memorable.! All that and a nor'easter too!

My first visit to the inn was three years ago and so wonderful that I had to stop back for another stay. I had the same room which I loved! Comfy bed, delicious breakfast, wonderful conversation with other guests and perfect setting that is walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the sea. There are two sitting rooms in which to read and or relax or chat with other guests. The atmosphere is lovely and the innkeepers and their staff are so helpful, friendly and lovely. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Rockport!

I made my second visit to this wonderful inn with my sisters. It was the perfect sisters trip. One more time I found the food was fantastic, the service was exemplary, and the location was perfect. It's a short few blocks walk into the heart of town, and the historical homes and flowers you'll see along the way are a bonus. Deb, Nick, Jim, and the team make you feel at home. We arrived to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and coffee or tea, which is available at all times. The four course breakfast each morning was so elegant and delicious that we only needed dinner at night. The rooms are spotless and the bed linens are so soft you don't want to get up. I will be back for a third visit to this place that has become my second home in Rockport, MA.
